Terms of Use

The Center For Affirming Theology (hereinafter referred to as “CAT”) is a division of Judah First Ministries. It provides theological resources and an online gathering place for people questioning the morality of non-heteronormative expressions of human sexuality. In order to utilize the products or services offered by CAT, you must agree to the following Terms of Use.

By accessing CAT, you agree that this website is provided on an as-is basis. You agree to be held solely responsible for any and all information or communications received from or through this website and/or its constituent elements (e.g. forum, email, etc.).

CAT retains the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue your access to this site at any time and for any reason.

If you decide to join this community, you are required to maintain the privacy of your password, and any other sensitive information. We strongly advise you to never share your login details or home address in this, or any other online community, as just because this is a Christian website does not mean that people from all over the world and all walks of life do not have access to the data posted throughout the site.

CAT is not responsible for any information you post no this site, or communicate to any other members.

You agree that because this is a Christian community, a standard of appropriateness is required of all members. By posting on this site, you agree to be bound to that standard, and to respect and obey the advice or instructions of the team of moderators if a post you make should be deemed inappropriate.

You understand that every post made becomes the property of Judah First Ministries and can be used in any and all publications of Judah First Ministries. We will, however, respect your right to privacy and not include your full name in any quotation or reference to posted material, although we reserve the right to assign username to the data.

You are always free to not share any information about yourself should that be your choice, as well as to use an ambiguous username that prevents people from being able to identify you outside of our website. Therefore, any information that you do choose to share must be true and accurate. You agree to never impersonate others on or through this site.

You understand that CAT is a division of Judah First Ministries, and that it is not currently tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service tax code. If and when exemption is sought and recognized, contributions will be retroactively tax-deductible; however, we offer no guarantees that we will receive exempt status.

Contributions can be refunded if a refund is requested by the contributor within seven (7) days of the submission of the contribution. After that time, you agree that all donations are non-refundable and will be used in furtherance of the mission of the organization.

You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Judah First Ministries, and all of its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and volunteers from and against any third-party claim arising from or in any way related to your use of or membership to this website, including any liability or expense arising from all claims, losses, damages (actual and consequential), suits, judgments, litigation costs and attorneys’ fees, of every kind and nature. In such a case, Judah First Ministries will provide you with written notice of such claim, suit or action.
